John H. Wagner, 72 of San Marcos California passed away November 12th 2020 in Yuma Arizona from heart complications. John was born January 25th 1948 in South Bend Indiana to Wendel and Anita (Johannes) Wagner. He graduated from North High School in Sheboygan Wisconsin in 1967, and following high school he enlisted in the United States Army. “Captain John Wagner” completed officer training and flight school and piloted chinook helicopters in Vietnam. He completed his military service in 1973 and was a proud patriot and U.S. Veteran. John H. Wagner is survived by his daughter Melissa Wagner, and her husband Gary Buechler, and a son John T. Wagner. He is also survived by his partner in business and in life, Lynda Barry. He leaves behind four brothers Phillip Wagner, David Wagner, Dennis Wagner and Wayne Wagner. He was preceded in death by a brother Kevin Wagner and by a wife Jacquelyn (Bock) Wagner. John was a father, husband, brother, devoted son and loyal friend. ***JOHN H WAGNER CELEBRATION OF LIFE*** Sunday September 5th 2021 (Labor Day Weekend) VFW Clubhouse: 1221 Park Lane, Cleveland WI 12pm - 4pm Please join us for an afternoon of merry making honoring the life of John Wagner. Lunch will be served from 12-2 followed by an afternoon of refreshments and reminiscing. Old photos and tall tales are encouraged but not required.
